Why does the Tennessee Valley need another church?

“Even if 60% of Southerners report that they are ‘religious,’ doesn’t that leave 40% of our cities, counties, and neighborhoods where almost half the residents are outside the local church, which is the ordinary means of salvation? It has been proven time and again that new church plants are the most effective way to reach that 40% of your neighbors who are in need of new life in Christ.”

Our Mission

The mission of TVP is to be a presbytery that is working together to fulfill the Great Commission throughout the Tennessee Valley.

TVP CHURCH PLANTING MOVEMENT

The TVP Church Planting Movement aspires to create a sustainable church planting and revitalization movement in the Tennessee Valley Presbytery. For God's glory, we are planting 20 new Presbyterian churches by 2027. Together with our existing churches, these plants will reach the lost and renew the communities in which they are planted.

Our two goals are to Reach the Lost and Renew Communities through the power of the gospel. Financial gifts to the TVP Church Planting Movement allow us to recruit planters, develop sites, build partnerships, coach and develop planters and plants, and fund each church plant for three years. In the first three years, we have planted seven churches, and we are aiming to plant five more over the next 12-24 months.

Will you consider investing by an annual gift or monthly giving to help us in this Kingdom work? Thank you so much for giving as God directs. We thank God for you!
